FAO Customer Services, Universal Music, Chippenham Drive, Kingston, Milton Keynes, Bucks, MK10 0AT.

Apparently they already have some remastered copies...

Now, does anyone know whether the R4 copies are duff as well ?

Well i just ordered my copy tonight after finding out their selling it for £19.99 including p&p, i bet ill need to have this copy sent to the above too.

I mean really the companies should have the emphasis on sending their stock back to universal, otherwise its going to be a continual process, of which many people will have no clue of this offering from Universal.

Shame really..

The framing problem affects all copies - R1, R2, R4 etc.

I`m a bit miffed that they want us to send the whole box, though - why can`t we just send discs 2 and 3 in jewel cases?

Call me stupid Mike, but im a bit miffed as too why you would want to do that.

I guess the reason is, down to barcodes and serials though at a guess, and wanting to make sure they get as many off the market as they can.

Id appreciate the people sending them off, letting me know how long it was before they received their copy again. Cheers

"Call me stupid Mike, but im a bit miffed as too why you would want to do that."

It just seemed a bit wasteful. Sending just the affected discs would save on postage, and I don`t see why they would want BTTF 1 back because there`s nothing wrong with that one.

Yeah, probably right.

I can`t believe we waited so long for the DVD, and then it`s duff!!
Nice one!!!
I`d like to see how long it takes for the replacement to come before I send mine off though.....

Personally, I think it`s one for the purists only, surely.

I think after the long delays people experienced with Terminator/Silence of the Lamb replacements, I`ll live with the minimal glitches, myself....
