Page 1 of Scream Trilogy

Is it worth getting the above for £34.99 - i.e. does it have good replay value, what are the extras like etc.

seeing as Amazon are selling it for £45, I`d go for it just on that merit.

The second and third films are nowhere near as clever or as scary as the first one, the replay value dimishes with every viewing, as the `jumpy` bits lose their impact.

This is the R2 version, the R1 version has a few more features, such as a scene editing feature, some very funny spoof trailers and some DVD-ROM features (which are generally useless unless your PC is set to multi-region)

is scream 1 an anamorphic transfer?

No

dvdoo.dk has scream 1 & 2 in a box set.
it works out about £20 but it does include the directors cut of scream 1 which is very hard to get.

u can get it from hmv at the mo for 9.99 each in the sale lso virgin r selling it cheap

Going back to an earlier question, what are the extras like? Are they informative, or a waste of space?

R2 Scream 1 and 2 are non-anamorphic

R4 Scream 1 is 4:3 Pan&Scan

R1 Scream 1 is non-anamorphic, also has a bonus 4th disc of extras.
