Ordered! Thank you Alfie!

Only really ordered because someone might hack it to be useful to me.

Looks like the link is dead now, and due to stupidity, I didn't order one last night thinking I'd do it today. So I missed out on my own bargain bucket post!

Still fighting shy of the whole Alexa/Siri/Google thingy.
I don't even use it on my phone and yes I'm aware it can listen to me anyway.

I sometimes use it in the car, but you have to manually trigger that. And for it to start listening at home you need to use the trigger words.

I mean, yeah your phone is technically always listening but it's not talking to Apple or Google until it is woken up.

Alexa and friends seem to be a little more active.

Anyway, I'll play with it for £9, and if someone manages to reverse engineer it enough to install their own bootloader I'll be doing that too!

I remembered today after setting this up, that I'd read people on Hackaday playing with it for voice controlling things... that's something I'd play with!

'Alexa block Brexit'

(Time passes)

'Alexa are you working'

'Yes I am fully functional'

'I've heard nothing for some time'

'You asked me to block Brexit'
