Page 1 of 7" Digital Picture Frame
Bargain Buckets Forum
The local ASDA store in Telford has a 7" Digital Picture Frame for £39.99.
Includes power adaptor. Supports SD,MS,MMC and USB(Hopefully any external device, not just sticks). Best Price I`ve seen.
RE: 7" Digital Picture Frame
Forgot to add... High Spec TFT LCD Screen with 720x480 resolution (not the 400x230 thats about the same price.)
Cant see it on there website. What make was it? Been toying with the idea of getting one of these for a long time.

I had one and liked having it on slideshow mode, but it is now packaged away unused - I view my photos through the Wii now!

The Make is Texet ??? Looks nice though. If you can wait until tomorrow I will give you my review. Else Just get one, try it, and if no good, take it back. :)
Is this the one?

ASDA was closed so I went to Tesco, where there were plenty in stock. I had checked on the Tesco Direct site (Jackal`s link) which was out of stock. The shelf ticket was showing £69.97 rather than £39.97, I had the price checked. £39.97 :) So thanks to the OP and Jackal I have manged to get some of my Christmas shopping done.
First impressions:
Much better picture than the low-res TFTs you normally get at this price.
Quite good viewing angles with fairly bright images.
It plays MP4 video well. I have tried others which claimed to play MP4 but all have locked up after a few seconds.
Frame is bulky relative to the screen size, so it isn`t the most attractive unit, but I have seen plenty that are worse.
Its a keeper. Thanks guys.
In fact I can see a couple of these getting strapped on the back of the headrests!!!

Just to add to bytemasters comments....
Unit Works well. Nice easy menus. The images are better if the resolution is closer to the resolution of the unit... My divx movie was spot on. My higher resolution images look like they would shown on a TV (you know what I mean).
The USB connection worked fine with a stick, but I could not get it to work with my laptop portable drive. Whether a powered external unit would work I dont know.
But all in all for the money its worth it, until something better comes along next week for cheaper : (
