in total the catch is you have to have a 2 yr contract ,but the laptop cost 300 and the total price for orange broadband is 337 for 2 yrs.take 300 for the laptop so your really paying 37 pounds for the 2 years,

or a choice fo other laptops with a contribution.
also, the first three months are half price. If you`re on a line that can;t get more than 2 meg then this looks like a good deal to me. Also tempted to get the parents on the net with a comp for next to nuthin.

I wonder how that could pan out for me...
I have my own line, enabled with AOL and up to 8meg.
We have a seperate BT line and account for the main house line...wonder if I could enable that individually too.....? hmmm...
But not on a 2 meg capped service ;)

,you are sort of paying for the laptop if its 300 then your paying 37 pounds for 2 yrs of service its not a bad deal but the laptop is only at 40gb ,i use 80 at the moment and its fast, you could add more gb i surpose,

Orange have made a mistake re the 24 months minimum subscription, it is actually ONLY 18 months.

Is Orange BB that bad ? The 2Gb download cap would concern me aswell. I`ve been on pipex for few years now, £23.44/month but there is no download cap. It`s certainly tempting though - £300 towards new laptop. Can anyone tell me how much more a drain on resources is Vista compated to XP Home ?
