RE: Scart freeview connector £24.99 + delivery at Ebuyer
This may be a silly question but...
if this is in a scart socket behind the tv, how does it `see` the remote control?

Most likely by a small external sensor which sits\affixed on the TV or its surroundings & plugs into the "module" itself.
I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.
I hate answering the phone at work - It disturbs my sleep.

On the Ebuyer web page, if you press the `more images` tab, the 5th image shows the plug-in IR sensor, which plugs into the socket labelled `IR` on the 2nd image, with a fairly long lead, so it can be stuck on the front of the TV.
In fact the sensor looks identical to the one that came with my PCI TV card !

Can anyone who has this item please confirm if it outputs RGB or just standard composite video? Thanks in advance.
