I would like to propose we have an informal nomination award for the “Bargain Finder of 2006 award”. This could be best single find or multiple finds. Would anyone like to start us off?

The 1st person who found the 10% off weekend at hmv in October. Wish I had used it better, i.e. I put 2 things in my cart bought them, then tried again later, and found it was a once only offer :(

Was the Lidl £30 DIVX player this year? Oh hang on, was just before Christmas, `cos I remember I bought a poinsetta which last about a week at the same time :(

pat-w`s post alerting us to Argos` X-Box + 4 games for under £50 deal;.

Have had over 50 quids usage out of it in just the few weeks I`ve had it, and that`s just playing Forza - haven`t even started on the other games yet. ;)

for me its the current amazon offer on Babylon 5 the complete universe set at £80... i have been itching to buy this for nearly a year but at £160 i couldnt justify it.
