My suspicions were aroused when I saw he was wearing Battle of the Bulge ribbons.
There are no ribbons for the Battle of the Bulge!
Precisely.

Do it with the frame removed. ;)

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you've noticed.) You don't normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

Just a little note to all those mislead souls out there,,,,

This is the complete set of Colour episodes only (45??) - not the complete series, which ran 118 episodes..

Yep, you guessed it - the other 71 episodes are in B&W :(

Sorry to put a downer on what is still a spectacular find :)

EDIT - Get it now - Offer ends in 6 days...(got mine already, thanks JMO)
EDIT2 - There are supposed to be 47 colour episodes...discuss!

Two of the 47 episodes are two-parters edited together to make feature films. The DDHE set has just the theatrical versions where the Network set has both feature and two-parter versions.

Note title of this thread is "Complete Saint In Colour Box Set", not "Complete Saint Box Set". DDHE only released the colour episodes. Network has released two box sets, a colour and a monochrome set which are on offer through Network themselves, however this thread was about the DDHE colour set, the contents of which are established in Stuart`s excellent review.

:D

DDHE had the B & W eps for £17.99 or something equally silly a couple of months ago didn`t they (They must have as they are sitting in my drawing room at the moment).

Thanks JMO - I`ve just realised the 2 -two parters are included in the box set and can confirm it`s absolutely gorgeous (I got it this morning). :-)

Now for a cheapo B&W set hunt......

This was just Series 1....great value nonetheless! The new set gathers together both the black and white seasons. Like you, I have the Series 1 set and now just need Series 2 to bridge the gap. I`m not going to double-dip just to get hold of them as I`m hoping they`ll get a release soon....

Anyone else had trouble getting their address right with DDHE`s weird format? It requires a `building name` followed by a number, but my delivery address looks incomplete at confirmation stage however I rejig it... :/
