Argos are selling the slimline PS2 with Singstar Rocks + Mics & Buzz! The Big Quiz + Buzzers for £99 during half term saving over £65. Pretty good buy for an Xmas pressie :)

Jsut curious how good Buzz is?

Just heard (elsewhere) that the deal is still on instore - not online anymore though.

Buzz is great - just like any TV quiz show with lotsa different formats, single player mode, teams etc.

Would be a lot of fun at small parties and everyone can play (unlike the Singstar karaoke, where all the blokes in the room suddenly start saying `oh, yes, well, no,er um...unless they`re half-cut, in which case it`s always the ones who can`t sing that suddenly think they can... ;)

Buy it - at worse, you`ll have a very small DVD player/games machine - what`s to lose?

I picked one up yesteday. Very good bargin i thought!

Im not really planning to use it for games, more for the eye toy, dance mat, Buzz, and other stuff that you cant do on a 360 yet.

Had a go on Singstar rocks thinking it would be rubbish, and just for the wife to play on, but i actually enjoyed it! Going to play Buzz tonight!

It`s not easy being different. It`s not easy being cool....but somehow I manage....

I`m a big fan of the SingStar `games`...more so when I`m drunk though (I sound fantastic then ;))

Singstar 80s & Singstar Rocks are the better ones of the lot (although Singstar Legends line up looks pretty good).
Buzz the Music quiz is also fantastic...the Big Quiz is fairly good but not as enjoyable IMO.

Poster in store in our local argos - I think you just put all the components together and the discount comes off on the till.

The offers`s now on the TV advert, so I`d get going now if you want one..... :)
