best i can get is £145 as it only takes £85 off

The £85 is before VAT is taken into account.It takes off £100 total.

I`m (Snookums) a bit dissapointed to get no positive replies whatsoever to an LCD TV and DVD recorder for £135!

You only posted it yesterday at 2pm. A lot of our members only visit the site around once a week, give it some time and I bet you will get lots of posts.

Seems like a good deal 2 me, im just trying it out now, im looking for a decent DVD recorder and to get the LCD tv for only a little bit more would be a pretty decent deal me thinks! :p

Thanks for the heads up but I think you are being a bit unfair, posting bargains is not a contest and there is no competition to get the most amount of thanks in a thread!

Besides, there may not be a lot of people who are looking to purchase these items so why would we say thanks for something we are not gonna use!??

I actually wonder sometimes whether people actually post for the benefit of others or just to make themselves feel all superior?

It was actually a good spot but was spoilt by the whole need for praise thing >:(

I do agree and I will be blunt and find this attention seeking absolutely derisory. I have taken up the special offer though so I am thankful for the post but not so appreciative about the insatiable desire to receive praise like a small child.

Have to agree with what has been said.
Looked a good post; however the reviews of the 15 inch TV mentioned sucked so I didn`t progress any further.

If I had bought I would have posted a thank-you; but as the TV sucks and I didn`t buy I felt more like heaping praise on the LCD TV reviewers - who saved me £130 !!

We all like a bit of praise from time to time - and when it comes it is nice; but we don`t all spit out our dummies when it doesn`t come.

I will still post relevant bargains that I think will be of interest whether or not I get praise. (I hope on reflection the OP will do the same.)

Just my two pennyworth.
