Well Tescos have the 2 disc SE (is there any other version?) for £9.77 if you buy any other chart DVD, CD or game. What are the others doing? Morrisons usually have a decent price...

Asda usually have great prices for first few days of a big DVD release. Often under £12. Anyone able to confirm this as I pass there on my way home..Ta... ;)

Ok, just rang the Doncaster store and apparently it is £12.47. I guess that makes ASDA the cheapest store to be selling it...so far...

You voucher boaster you!

So apart from the different language options for subtitles, is there any difference? And I assume the quality`s the same? My only experience of an R3 disk was for The Others (IIRC), and the contrast seemed all washed out - kind of put me off.

Same here, I bought The Others and the picture was horribly green and washed out. I have region2/4/0 discs and these are fine. Maybe it was just a rc[at]p transfer?

well I can`t comment on the picture quality as I haven`t watched it yet,but I have a R3 "prisoner" & that was A1.Also I don`t have a R2 to compare it to.
Packaging wise it has NO foreign writing on whatsoever, nothing to give it away as non-UK except the proof of purchase bar-code top right,Americanised spelling (e.g. color not colour),& as you rightly predicted the languages are English & Mandarin,& the subtitles are English,Chinese,Chinese narrative & Bahasa Malaysia.
I`ve no reason to suspect the colour/transfer will be inferior,& even if it was I don`t care,I most likely won`t watch it anyway,it`s for my 6 year old son,& I`m sure he won`t be too analytical!

So long as no-one walks across the screen you`re usually okay at that age, otherwise they tend to mention it at the worst of times....so i hear.... :/

Still waiting on Chicken Little R3 for my small one!
