The title says it all.

BTW i need to spend another 28p to qualify for free delivery on a book I want to buy. Does anybody knows how to search for item by price?
Thanks
JC

Apparently, what you can do is pre-order something that won`t be available for months. They will then post your stuff out in two seperate orders. When your items arrive you can cancel the pre-order.
Saw this on MSE and it apparently works (haven`t tried it myself though).

Worked for me a few weeks ago. I ordered books and a game which was subsequently delayed. The books were sent and I got fed up waiting for the game so I cancelled it. Got charged for the books only and got free delivery. :)

Cancelling a pre-order just to sneak in under the postage limit is pretty low isn`t it? Amazon are one of the better online companies out there and I for one would like their service to stay as is (or improve) not be cut back due to people who abuse their system.

Of course Amazon could fix their system so this couldn`t happen...

Or they could just offer free delivery like most other online retailers who sell their items for the same price or cheaper.....

Thanks for the replies, so nobody knows of any items that costs around £1 or less?
Reckless has got a point at the same it is true that Amazon could offer free delivery maybe for regular customers (I order on a regular basis)

If you read their new T&C for the new lower free delivery rate you will find Amazon have closed the loophole described above, and you will get charged for postage.

Or your items will not be sent until they can be shipped all together in one package.
