All About Eve

Have just been listening to their new anthology Keepsakes. Having been a fan since the early days this is a reminder of how great a band they were (and hopefully will be if they, do as stated, work together again). All the hits are there from Flowers in Our Hair up to their recent release Let Me Go Home (which just failed to make the top 40). Two new songs were written for this which are pretty good and also two remakes of earlier tunes which I`m not too sure about ( I suppose you get used to the originals).Two and a half hours of music and a DVD with 21 videos and performances (also includes the infamous TOTP debacle as an Easter egg). Go and treat yourself.

I can`t see that anywhere. As far as I`m aware my order is being sent by Amazon backed up by the fact I got Supersaver delivery by including something else. The wait is still listed as 1-2 weeks.

Bought a SACD and DVD-A worked out around £8 each including postage. Watch out for different versions however eg. the American Peter Gabriel SACD`s are not hybrids.

For all you (childrens) sci-fi fans out there all these single disc sets were £3.99 instore at MVC Nottingham.

Found some great bargains instore at WHS in their BOGOF offer.

Spaced Series 2 £9.99
Black Books series 1 £8.99
Royale Family Series 2 £7.99

Others were, however, priced at £19.99.

So picked up Spaced & Black Books for £9.99 the pair. Now that`s a bargain.

Finally followed up orders from the sale that have been missing for 2 weeks to find that they had all been posted. So that`s 1 CD and 3 DVD`s that have gone missing in the post. Something smells a bit fishy at Royal Mail.

It seems to be happening again. Five items allegedly sent, one turning up after 6 days, the others still missing after 8 days. Has anyone else received their goods yet? I thought these were all in stock items that were sent out straight away or have they messed up the emails again and the items haven`t been sent yet.

I`ve found with Splash that it does take at least 3-5 days from their e-mail for stuff to arrive. Nobody else seems to take as long. I often wonder if they are actually sent at that time. :/
