Thats still good news. Can someone confirm do Soon accept Barclaycard (which I believe will cover me for all web purchases I make using it) ? Do you have to go through credit check of some kind ie sending photocopies of stuff ? Do most CC charge extra for purchasing from overseas websites ? Sorry for asking rather boring questions...I would love to use DVDSoon but like a hassle free life !

Thanks for pointing this out - I have just reordered all `preordered` and `on order` items so now have CA$9.98 in store credit. :)

DVD Soon accept Visa and Mastercard - charges, if any, will depend entirely on your card issuer.

Barclaycard and most UK card issuers charge at least 2.5% in exchange charges, and sometimes have additional costs.

If you are going to be buying from overseas sites more than once, it is worth getting a Nationwide Visa card - as these have the lowest costs. Liverpool Victoria Visa card is similar in low cost for European Exchange.

Barclaycard and others rip you off for exchange charges.....

Prices seem to be back to normal again today.
Tuesday seems to be a bad day for ordering from DVDSoon!
Seasoned DVDSoonies with infidel cards are I`m sure wise to DVDSoon`s price vagaries.
The question is; is it deliberate policy and if it is what are they playing at?!!!

Have you check your statement recently. As far as mine shows, there are no Additional charges when buying in foreign currency. It is all inclusive for all Visa transactions. If you are withdrawing cash in a foreign currency - now that`s a different matter!
