McDonalds "£24 voucher book"

bubblehead (Mostly Harmless) posted this on Monday, 24th January 2005, 20:13

We all know how dirty McDonalds food is,

and although its been a while since I have eaten anything from McDonalds, there is a free voucher book being delivered.

Its the usual, "Buy one big mac, get one free" vouchers etc etc,

but they finish on 5/3/05. So, its going to be an unhealthy few weeks if you are planning on using them all.

Am I tempted to go to McDonalds again?

We had one around the same time we watched Super Size Me. Can`t say I ate there a lot before, but I won`t be eating there at all now!

Tried the free porridge this morning. Ick.

The coffee isn`t bad, and the Chicken Premiere is nice.

They have pulled the offer they had for the free deli sandwich offer so be careful and make sure they are accepting the coupons before odering.

I`ll never eat at McDonalds again, especially not after Super Size Me

Used to like Burger King but don`t know if I`ll go there again, went there a few months back and had a burger, was sick for 3 days after. Could easily have been a virus and me just accusing the fats food industry wrongly.

The coffee is s***e, swill, infact since they switched to kenco coffee, it is crapper than usual. We need good coffee. Most cafes and diners only serve that instant crap. We need more real coffee in the UK. Places like Costa, Starbucks and Tchibo are ridiculously overpriced. I need coffee at good prices. 70-90p per cup is reasonable.
