You might like it, you might not, but for no brainer SciFi action you cant beat Verhoeven`s Starship Troopers. Ive not seen the second one, its had terrible reviews, but for Im willing to give it a go ..and seen as its £6.99 for the boxset (rrp £24.99) the second ones free anyhow....

......however if you do decide to turn your brain on, you`ll find an excellent (and currently very apt) satire on American foreign policy.

Good spot - considering Starship Troopers alone is £6.99 at Play.com, this is a good deal. I haven`t seen the second one so might have to buy this as the first movie has been on my wishlist for ages. I thought it was a very good satire which hit its mark in the same way as Robocop.

I must have got in just in time last night, I got mine for £6.99, but an extra quid for the second film isnt too bad eh...and Starship Troopers on its own has gone up to £7.99 now on Play.com... :/

save your money the second film is crap ,bad bad bad acting ,and pants effects

But its as cheap as buying the first one on its own...

I thought the whole first film summed up America pretty well, along with cock-ups to match. Just don`t turn your brain on too much or you`ll spot all the plot holes and stupidities.

I didn`t spot any plot holes when it was on telly last night... scarily how close it matches the situation in iraq, considering when it was made.

Anyone seen the cgi series cheap? That is actually supposed to be quite good.
