Page 1 of HMV - In Store Sale

OK , so HMV sales aren`t really very exciting news and this one is pretty much the same stuff as usual. But just to keep you informed , a lot of the stuff which is in the online sale is now available in the In Store Sale which starts today.
I just got Batman 1-4 at £14.99 and Superman 1-2 at £9.99 from my local (Walthamstow , East London) HMV. Other notable mentions (for anybody who hasn`t just bought the box set from Tescos like me :) ) are the Monty Python Life of Brian and Holy Grail Collector`s Editions at £10.99 each (£17.99 each at Play and CD-Wow - sans vouchers ;) )

Africa Queen at £2.99 looked the best buy.
Also Lost in La Mancha for £4.99, and I think I saw the Oliver Stone Box Set for £9.99.
All the MASH Box Sets were £17.99.
Woodface by Crowded House (a CD!) was also £2.99.

i`m gonna check hmv out tomorrow when i`m in town. usually one or two decent buys early on in these sales.

I`ve been waiting for season 4 of Babylon 5 to come below £30 and it`s £29.99 in this "sale" the also had seasons 1-3 at that price in Bristol Broadmead.

Seen the B5 boxsets 1 - 3 for about £25 or cheaper in my local WHS (Exeter).

A trip to Bluewater today would appear to be in order. :)

Poor old "Space 1999" - HMV just really can`t decide what price to sell the 2 box sets at :) In this current sale, the www.hmv.co.uk site has the 6-disc set at their normal ludicrous prices, namely 79.99/84.99 quid (since when would anyone pay 14 quid a disc in a box set ?!). But wander into your local HMV bricks`n`mortar store and there they are, at 29.99 quid for each box set...

I rang Bluewater yesterday regarding the B5 Series 4 Boxset (full price), undaunted I popped into HMV Oxford Street London while en-route home,I only found 2 boxes on ground & lower ground floor & had one of them @ £29.99. :)

Didnt get to check HMV Exeter today. :(
