Hi, Was in virgin megastore kingston today, and they are having a 40% off closing down sale. Everything in the store is included inc DVD`s and blank media, cd`s etc. A friend said they saw similar posters outside the finchley branch!
Picked myself up a Six Feet Under Season 2 for £24 - nice

Thank you for the heads-up Hal, I`m still at home after my op and so my mate took me down there today - picked up:
Black Hawk Down (3disc) for about a tenner
Ichi the Killer (3disc) for about a tenner
Boyz n the Hood (2disc) for about 8 quid
The Wolfman new release for about 8 quid
Commando for 3 pounds and 12 pence!
Some good bargains - but not much variety left already!!

The UK release of Ichi the Killer is cut by about 3 mins. >:(

Never mind.....I`m not all that bothered about that. I have the original but on a *ahem* c*py!
The boxset is lush and the 3rd disc is the cartoon version so I`m looking forward to that later on!

Ahh bugger. Not up there at the min, nor is my girlfriend (though she was yesterday). How come its closing down, any ideas?

Islington branch near Angel station is also closing down and having a 40% off everything. However, I did find that most of the prices had been raised to the RRP.

Same in Walthamstow , East London. They are having a 40% off closing down sale but most of the CD`s and pretty well all of the DVD`s are showing full RRP.

Leicester - Gallowtree Gate branch is also closing with the same offer but everything has been marked up to top whack so any bargains are negligable. :(

Just went into Islington branch and what a joke. Not much of a bargain at all to be honest. All the CDs and DVDs are all overpriced. I mean Fight Club was at 19.99 and even with 40% that would have been more expensive than HMV`s buy 2 for £20.
