More to the point would be,
"Whats the chances of getting it this year" :D

(speaking as someone who has has experience of them, just had the devil of a job to get them to fulfil an order for Two Towers, "out of stock with their suppliers" I believe was the phrase they used! Of course, I mean its such an obscure movie isnt it?! Took two months to arrive!
But to be fair to them ;) every single order I have have placed has always been the same!
I`m not usually that fussed how long they take but for this release that will not apply. Think I will use Choices direct - they are usually pretty speedy, or Bensons (if they come up with a good price).
Anyone have any experience of Amazon when it comes to pre-orders - do they ship early?

And it will run 4% faster than it`s supposed to - great! I`m sticking with the R1 simply because I have an NTSC prog scan capable TV. I was thinking of DVDSoon as an alternative at approx. £22, and even if I get hit by customs it`ll still be cheaper than any of the UK based R1 retailers (such as Loaded 247).

I have only ever pre-ordered one title from Amazon.co.uk and it took until 4 days after release day for them to ship it out which isnt that great.
Also, unless you want it sent via Super Saver Shipping (3-5 days for delivery) you will have to pay for postage which adds another £1.50+ on top.
Personally I am leaving my order with Play.com, they are doing it for £27.99 and with them you will msot likely have your order the Friday or Saturday before release.
