Leon is a brilliant film and the uncut version is the only one worth owning, imho.

Leon is a great film and one of those I have never got round to buying, Ive only seen the rental version and the version shown on tv/sky.....I take it this would be the cut version? if so whats cut out? 24 minutes sounds like an awful lot of film Ive been missing!

I have this version. From all the reviews I`ve read the superbit doesn`t really improve anything, and you don`t get any extras (although the only extra of any worth is the Isolated Score).
But as has been said, it`s the only version worth owning. It builds upon the relationship between Leon and Mathilda (sp?), and it also shows some key plot points that should not have been cut out (the grenade). The cuts were issued for the American release, and the UK got the American version. Every other country got the full version.

My UK region 2 release is definately NOT anamorphic
Maybe you have a different version/region, or has it been re-released in anamorphic widescreen?
