Bargain at HMV

Choagy (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 4th November 2003, 14:10

I know many will ridicule this offer but I could not resist it.
A box set of six discs containing twelve Norman Wisdom movies. £24.99 as opposed to £46.99 from Play or £49.99 at DVD.co.uk .

£2 for each DVD is probably more than many would be willing to pay but TBH I loved all of his films and look forward to getting them delivered tomorrow.

In the words of Norman "Don`t laugh at me (cause I`m a fool) " :) :)

Choagy :)

Julian.

Just phoned HMV and they confirmed that I would be charged £24.99 and that shortly after placing our order the price reverted back to the higher price.

Not very often I manage to get a bargain but I reckon this qualifies. :) :)

Does anyone know any other great Norman quotes?
"Mr. Grimsdale" is perhaps the only one!

Oliver Reed beat him up in the Navy film (forgot the name of it!)

These old films are brilliant, they don`t make comedies like those anymore, more`s the pity.

(that navy lark????)
