Ive owned both Gamecube and Xbox and to be honest Id sooner the Gamecube, game play is very good!

Gamecube...look at the pros & cons:
xbox:
pros - Halo. hard disc
cons - only halo, ugly big thing. controller
Gamecube
pros - Metroid Prime, Zelda, PSO (online now), Super Mario Sunshine and more quality titles than you can shake a s***ty stick at. Amazing wireless controller, nice small machine with itsy bitsy discs, freeloader - lets you playt import games.
cons. no halo.

Theres a lot of early XBOX games being released at £19.99 now including Buffy and Project Gotham Racing.

Er Xbox price crash ? Er check argos web site and find gamecube currently going for £78(store only). Gamecube not long for this world me thinks.

Also, Blockbuster has gamecube for £99.
Why would it not be around for much longer? The user base has probably doubled in the past month with all these discounts, and unlike Sega and the dreamcast Nintendo have the financial muscle to back the gamecube up.
Also, don`t forget out of the three regions Europe is the smallest, and Japan is second, where the xbox struggles against other consoles such as the wonderswan.
