Well the question is not which of the 3 is superior, its justs whether the fact that with prices coming down, people will be tempted to buy another console, especially if you bought a PS2 over a year ago. In doing so this should boose both the Xbox and the gamecube, and probably knock back the PS2 sales a little.

I personally think both have good strengths, so would not knock either, in fact both in terms of gameplay are evenly matched, I would of still got me cheap GC from Argos if this offer was around a couple of weeks ago, because of the more child friendly nature of the games on the GC, plus the number of strikingly cheap game deals around( I mean all games £25 in Dixons!!!)

Hmmm Xbox n Gamecube, vastly superior technology and cheaper than a PS2? I believe many PS2 owners could be tempted to buy a second console at this rate and sample the new wares, leaving the PS2 in the cold. The PS2 technology is archaic compared to the competition and the user base could realise this very soon if the competition is cheaper.

Why buy a Fiesta when you can have a BMW at a cheaper price?

Got me Cheap Gamecube for £80 and got cheap cube games for £11.95

Just got me gamecube and Luigi for the kids , and got 5 games and an extra controller + memory card for £150.

SplashDVD.com are doing Aggressive inline and Xtreeme 3g for 11.95 and got Rogue Squadron for £15 and Rugrats for the kids at £15. Mario Sunshine was £22 . Now just need too preorder Zelda for £30

Just got me new game cube £80 from Argos + controller 9.95, with Luigi or the kids Splash DVD selling Rogues Squadron for £15 and Aggressinve inline for £11.95 (got 9.2 in cube magazine and is meant too as good as Tony Hawk). + Rug rats for £15

So Gamecube + 4 games + spare controler and memory card for £150!!!!

Spoke to someone in GAME apparently their headoffice is not sending out anymore stocks of gamecubes until the Argos offer is over as thy have had too price match and are now sold out!!!!!!!!!

Guy in John Lewis refused to sell me a game cube with game (the cube is £78 only he said with out the game, although another offer has the cube at £99 with game). Unless I had documentry evidendce and not just webpage print out..... reservered mine in argos after i told him where too stick it.
