Nabbed myself this at the weekend. Nery nice indeed. Nippier than an Eskimo`s bits. Grapics card is a bit weak, but overall I`m very happy with my purchase. Now to nab the comfy chair in the other thread...

I`m not particulary against PC world, and have had 1 bad experience that was eventually sorted but after reading this

Makes me wonder ....

When I bought the above PC I also bought a TV input card. I need to take screeenshots of PS2 games when freelancing. Sadly the grabs turned out to be slightly too blurry to use, so I took the card back. They refunded me the money with no fuss.

I`ve had excellent treatment thus far.

This isn`t the same one that was on offer in Aldi, is it? I`ve had good reports on these Medion PCs & when I get my new one later this year I will definately give them consideration.

I believe it is. Mine`s is doing me well enough. And the specs are right for the price.

The PC world Medion is nowhere near as good as the Aldi one, stay away get the Aldi one for £680 and add a monitor.

You get alot more for your money

I was offered the base unit for £700, minus a monitor. What`re the specs of the Aldi one? It can`t be that different.

They could well have all gone by now anyway I`m afraid.

My girlfriend`s brother got one, everything seems great (apart from a dead pixel on the flat screen which Medion are replacing without fuss). I have bought a floppy drive (since it doesn`t come with one!), does anyone know if all the cables required to connect it up will be present inside the case, or will I have to buy those as well?
