Just been to my local W H Smiths in Exeter and picked up Beauty & The Beast - 2 Disc Collectors Edition for £9.99
Also saw in the store...
Harry Potter And The Philosopher`s Stone (Widescreen)(2 Discs) The Mothman Prophecies Monsters INC - 2 Disc Edition Stuart Little 2
These had big Half-price red stickers on them and were on the normal shelves and not included in the sale....should work out to be around 8.99 to 9.99.
Might be worth looking around abit to see if there were any more....(Was really busy in the shop....plus pushing a baby around screaming doesn`t help!!)

Good stuff.. Remember not so long ago, Sainsburys were doing a 2 for £25 offer that everyone was getting carried away with. Some things lately make that offer seem expensive.. B&TB 8.49!

I got Quadrophenia for a fiver in Swindon, but I think it was a mistake as it wasn`t supposed to have a £9.99 and a half price sticker on it.

All the above mentioned DVDs are full price in Smiths in Leicester. Is this a localised offer?

Try asking them to scan the dvd at the till as a lot of the branches have not had time to/cant be bothered to put on the half price tickets worked for me today in Perth

I got the last copy of Panic Room in my local branch. It wasn`t marked up as a special offer, but when scanned at the till, came up half price. The had loads of copies of Goldmember, & not one of them had a sticker on, so it looks like the staff couldn't be bothered. So, if you spot a title you want that's been mentioned here, take it to the till & get them to scan it first
