SplashDVD - shedloads of bargains

Didn`t see anyone has posted this before - maybe you all know already?

28 catagories of bargains, so plenty to wade through. Here`s a few: Dr Strangelove £7.99, Monty Python £7.99, Music DVDs (Ministry £5.99, Orbital £9.99, Red Hot Chili Peppers £9.99...) Lots of martial arts, inc Dr Wai £5.99. Don`t all come up in dvdpricecheck.co.uk though, so worth checking the old fashioned way.

Boxed Sets only contains the Matrix despite email claiming more. It`s £17.99 rather than £40.99 though if you care for a second copy ; )

Thanks for that GeoffG, I thought they just had a personal vendetta against me!! Somebody else told me to use the 01534...number rather than the 0870 type thing and although it`s still engaged a lot, i`ve gotten through on that a lot quicker than the other. They STILL owe me money, see the other thread "SplashDVD whats going on". All I can say is best of luck mate, they`ve lost my business for good though.

I ordered `Santa Claus Brothers` animated for my kids.

Splash charged by Credit Card on 21 November. No sign of the DVD yet, I have emailed them, so lets see what happens.

It could ruin part of my kids christmas though :-(

I agree Splash are absolutely crap. Got my fingers burnt with the friends box sets fiasco which they still haven`t refunded me for. Would never use them ever!

I totally agree. Splash have let me down a few times. no refund, no answer to e-mails, never available by telephone. Had to contact my credit card to dispute the transaction. Basically, avoid them if you can. If not, make sure you pay by credit card so that you`re totally protected.

l got Buffy Season 5 from them for £32.99 so was very happy!

Then when my credit card bill came in, l was charged TWICE for it! A quick call to my credit card company did the trick!

Apporach with causion....

I used splashdvd.com before and no problems. However, I made an order some time back (Lawnmower Man). Unknown to me, splash had charged my credit card, renamed the product code and my order got lost.

It was only when I called them a couple of months later, did I hear the guilty person on the other end of the phone - who I must say apologised profusely.

Anyway - some good experience - some bad.
