Page 1 of How to cretae a DVD

Does anyone know how to convert a xvid file (XP states it is a winamp media file) to work on a standard dvd player (LG3350E). I have Nero 6 and dvdshrink etc

Any help would be appreciated (sp)

Hodgie, I have the very same machine and the only way I could do it was to use EasyCD and Dvd creator to convert to VCD (It would be better to convert to SVCD for picture quality, but the 3350 will only play VCD), you can then play the VCD`s in the 3350 provided you have carried out the VCD hack on this website. I have to say that if you have a Dvd writer then simply use your software to write the Dvd. But I recently bought the Pioneer 575A-s, and it plays all the Divx films directly in the machine and it`s difficult to differentiate them from Dvd quality!! Amazing!

You will have to turn it into a dvd mpeg then put it through a dvd authering program then burn the dvd with nero and bobs ya uncle. The programs i do it with are Main concept mpeg encoder then i auther it with dvd movie factory by creating a dvd.
