RE: 20`` Freestyle Bike £34.98 + delivery

One gear sounds right. It`s a BMX type bike. Great for tricks but to ride any faster than walking pace, your legs are going like some sort of Duracell bunny

RE: Do Volvo make any 7-seater motors?

Think they still do. I had a Merc E Class with the 2 extra seats in the boot.

RE: Tonight Program -Saving fuel

Some people say they work, some say they don`t. The way petrol prices are going, might be worth a try. Loads on ebay

RE: V+ box on Virgin Media

Don`t have either, so can`t comment on which is the best, but the V+ box can record 2 channels whilst watching another. The sky+ can only record one and watch one.

RE: Ronaldinho to Middlesbrough?

Read that on Sky Sports web site in work. Nearly phoned our IT dept to tell them my monitor was faulty :D

RE: Mobile phone signal question

It`s the network. T-Mobile isn`t as strong a signal as Vodaphone or O2 in my experiences

RE: Hiya Gang...TV Ants Query.....

Sopcast is another one you could try.

RE: Pay as you drive car insurance advice for me mum.

How can you only be insured when you drive? The car still needs to be insured on the drive/in storage.

Of course it`s insured when you`re not using it. It`s just like a normal policy. It`s like a PAYG mobile phone. If you`re on a tarrif of 500 free minutes for £35 and you only use 200 minutes, you still have to pay the £35. if your 200 minutes costs only £20 a month on a PAYG, which one one do you pick. You pay a reduced monthly figure and get charged so many pence extra for each mile you drive.

Norwich Union do it and say if you do less than 6000 miles, you`ll be better off. They fit a free GPS to calculate your mileage. For the first year, they will refund the difference if it works out more than a normal policy with them would cost.

24 x 440ml Stella cans for £10 at Morrisons

Stop reading this and get down there. Max of 6 per customer

RE: 20x300ml Bottles Of Carling £7.49 At Sainsburys

I don`t know of it`s still on, but last week at a Spar, I bought a case of 18 440ml Carlsberg cans for £9.99.

Not my first choice, but for those prices, it would be rude not to.

RE: I`m off to Majorca.........

Could well be a "Dels Bar", as I said, I only watch the football in one of the 2 Irish bars. Or if you`re getting your wires crossed, you might mean "Trotters Bar", as in Only Fools & Horses. It`s down one of the side streets along the front, on the Alcudia road. The yellow 3 wheeled Robin Reliant parked outside will give it away.

RE: I`m off to Majorca.........

Go there every Easter (past six years) Very nice place. Marina, beaches, shops & restaurants.

Food shopping
Cabrabo supermarket. Heading away from the Marina on the road to Pollenca old town on the roundabout. Also lots of small Spars dotted about if you don`t need a big shop.

Food
During the day, all the restaurants/cafes alaong the front serve food & drinks. Of an evening there are lots of restaurants in or around the square, like Tango & Centric. Probably anywhere apart from the Dakota Tex Mex (has a red indian statue outside) At the roundabout at ther marina, there is a good Chinese restaurant on the first floor, above a clothes and a perfume shop. The Codfather chippie does nice fish and chips and sunday roast

Drinks
We hire a villa, so we only go out for meals. The only time I go out for a drink, is to watch the football, usually at either O`Hara`s (Stella on draught) or Mulligans. There are other bars dotted around

Shops
Usual perfume, jewellery & leather shops. Plus the typical shops selling tat and tacky spanish dolls and matadors to take home.

On Sunday mornings there is a market in the old town and in the square on a Wednesday. Good for clothes, jewellery, leather goods, friut & veg etc.

We keep on going back, so it can`t be that bad. It`s not a Magaluf, but not a ghost town either. You should have a great time.

Go to www.pollenca.com, it will give you all the info you need, including forums (a bit more civilised than this one)

Any questions just ask
