Pretty sure some of the estates like theV70 had optional seats to take them up to 7.

Think they still do. I had a Merc E Class with the 2 extra seats in the boot.

Just got the missus an XC90 Executive. 7 seats and a big boot for the clans clutter. 2.9 petrol getting 17.8 MPG. Love it. PS2 and DVD for the nips ( and me too ).
