RE: Amazon MP3 bargain- 16 disc (244 tracks) Frank Sinatra download £8.69

Thanks for the link. Got some brownie points with my fatherinlaw with that.

Surely if it was a misprice they would`ve corrected it by now! But saying that, look at the price on Amazon.com! We pay over the odds as usual so nice to get a bargain :)

RE: Ebuyer prints 1p each

Weirdly, I just got the email from Snapfish myself... coincidence? Or something more sinister. Maybe you, MilesR, are all part of the conspiracy to rob me of my msn account!!!
Arrghhh. You are all in it together......

Or back in real world, maybe not....

LOL thanks for putting my mind to rest :)

RE: Ebuyer prints 1p each

Bit weird this one. It took me to my login page for Hotmail.... Think I`ve been hijacked. D`oh. That will teach me.

RE: Philips Energy Saving LightBulbs 5 for £1.00 in Sainsburys

"so by the time the bulbs reached full brightness Im gonna have been to the loo and switching it off,"

"What are you planning to do, Neil? Photosynthesise?" - Rick, A Young One.

Can you get these bulbs with a screw fitting? I`ve got them everywhere else.

RE: Star Trek on HD DVD

Thanks mbilko for the heads up on the price drop. Just got my confirmation email that I`ll be credited the diff.

I think this should go down as one of the best bargains ever, if you like your Trek anyway...

:B

RE: Star Trek on HD DVD

Got mine yesterday. Very nice if a little hard to get out of the box!!

I won`t deny that I`m a little disappointed that the picture is in 4:3 but I should`ve expected that, my bad.

I look forward to watching them with my missus who has only ever seen a couple of episodes in her life. She had a very sheltered upbringing!

So, thanks for the post :)

RE: Channel 4 DVDs from £2 - take a look some real bargains @ Tesco Extra and Jersey

Humour, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

"Now, the world don`t move to the beat of just one drum,
What might be right for you, may not be right for some. "

I find Bill Bailey extremely funny, even though he don`t resort to swearing or manky things; much anyway.

Try some of his stuff on Youtube before you commit.

Xbox360 HD DVD Player...£20

GAMESTATION (d`oh, too eager to put my first contribution to the forum up, sorry and thanks) stores have been selling the HD DVD drive for the Xbox360 for £20 or....
£25 with 2 HD DVDs!

I know HD is dead etc but this still seems pretty sweet especially as you can use it as a spare external dvd drive after it has outlived it`s usefulness.

RE: Please Sir 10 DVD £17.99 & Mind Your Language CHEAP

Thanks a lot.

I had a "legal" chinese import of Mind Your Language so it will be nice to see it again in decent quality!

RE: free Star Wars Audio Book (Only till 13th May)

Thanks a lot. This will make my crappy job a bit more bearable lol.

RE: Ratatouille & Pixar Short films BLU RAY £22 ASDA BARGIN!!

I fell asleep in it too.

I thought it was aiming too high. Should`ve just kept it to a chef rat rather than bring in all the stuff about food critics zzzzz

But on the other hand my sons liked it so that`s all that really matters about it, I guess :)

RE: Alien Quadrilogy 9dvd boxset- under a tenner!

Are these the same discs that come out seperately, 2 discs director`s cuts and the normal version? Any different extras?

Cheers

RE: Brideshead Revisited DVDs

If you get no offers. try ebay, you can usually pick these discs up for less than a couple of squid each.

RE: Watch Your Skybox from anywhere in the world - PCTV To Go Wireless £79.99 (£70 off)

"I`m usually home at that time."

LOL same here, got my Vbox+ to do the whole series.

RE: Watch Your Skybox from anywhere in the world - PCTV To Go Wireless £79.99 (£70 off)

Geek.

All that just to watch "Revenge of the Cybermen" on UK Drama at 5pm.

RE: V+ box £75

I`m booked in on the 4th of Jan. Very busy, as you can imagine.
I did try saying that I was tempted to go to Sky for their free box but didn`t get anywhere so I stumped up the cash for it.

RE: Dr Who and RC K-9.....£9.49 inc P+P.

Uh oh, don`t say that! Surely that`s K9 in scale with the 5" Dr Who figures, like in the Tardis playset. We bought the big RC K9 but it wouldn`t run very well on the carpets in our house so I thought this would do as a replacement.

I`ll let you know when it arrives.

Dr Who and RC K-9.....£9.49 inc P+P.

My son has been after K-9 for his new Tardis playset (thanks again, Jackel) and I found this.....

http://www.forbiddenplanet.com/products/1443/Doctor_Who_Toy_Remote_Control_K-9_With_Doctor_Figure/Science_Fiction/Remote_Controlled/Doctor_Who/New/Product.html

Even the non rc K-9 and Rose is going for £20 at Amazon. Thought it was pretty good.

Or am I missing something?

Cheers.

RE: Doctor Who Tardis Play Set £18:99

Thanks Jack.

My son was going to pay £35 for this at toysrus at the weekend.
That`s one 9yr old boy that you`ve made happy today.

Thanks a lot again :)

RE: Free Audiobook Wolfbrother read by Gandalf

Started listening to this today and really enjoyed it!

Thanks a lot :)

RE: Free Orange Mountain Bike

She got nice belly!!

RE: Free Orange Mountain Bike

A nice toned belly is for me.

What do the ladies like? (let`s not be sexist here)...

Kind eyes, a nice smile etc?

RE: Free Orange Mountain Bike

I`ve seen them. They are rubbish.

Girls, we prefer natural.

RE: Free Orange Mountain Bike

Can I just say that I didn`t know who she is so I had to google her (!) just see if you were telling the truth. And you are.

This isn`t sexist talk, just scientific observation.

RE: 8 Re-released Classic Dr Who titles available for £6.99 each at HMV

Ah so many memories....

If you see Remembrance look out for the scene where Doctor Sylvester confronts the lone dalek near the end. It`s very similar (IMHO) to the scene with Doctor Christopher in Dalek....similar in words anyway but not in tension....

Nah, I`ll get the DVD cos I`m good(ish)

RE: 8 Re-released Classic Dr Who titles available for £6.99 each at HMV

Hey Colleen,

I only ever saw Earthshock once, the first time it was broadcast. Do I remember correctly that there were 2 cyberman guards that were having a chat, casually swinging their guns about? Or am I making that up? Maybe I should get the DVD eh?

RE: At Last the 1948 Show/Do Not Adjust Your Set - £3 at Woolies

"At last the 1948 show" is brilliant. Very funny, if you like the pythons humour.
Tim Brook Taylor and Marty Feldman dressed as chinese waiters going "spare rib, spare rib" and bringing a telephone to a customer!!!! HAHAHAhaha ahem....I think you had to be there lol.
Buy Buy Buy

RE: Dr Who 10 book box set £9.99

Or if you have kids, you can get the same price without postage through the book people at the schools at the moment. hurrah!! :B

RE: Free Doctor Who Audio Adventure available for LEGAL download

I assumed it was Colin Baker doing the Doc! If it weren`t, it fooled me. If it was Nicola Bryant doing Peri (!) it sounded like it had been recorded at a different time than the rest of it, maybe over the phone!!
Still, it was a good story etc.

thanks for the link :)
