Me?
Yes.
It's a small percentage of the total membership that make all the noise round here. I've observed more than I've posted in these forums; in fact it's only comparatively recently I've looked outside the dvd section.
There are too many people here that just love the look of their own words. And it's so cliquey it's positively incestuous. Nowt personal Ben, but all I saw here was another of the reviewer mafia bludgeoning someone else about the head in his typically arrogant 'I'm right and don't you dare disagree' way, and another of the fluffy group-huggers standing behind him cheering.
I know I won't be missed, in fact if it weren't for this post nobody would have noticed, but I've had it with this place. I'm off.
RE: The horror remake nightmare continues
Well, on the plus side, if they do The Birds they probably couldn`t get a worse actress than Tippi Hedren. Of course, they could prove me wrong by putting Sarah Michelle Gellar in it.
Barton Fink £1.99
At HMV. And it`s better than King Kong!
RE: Whats Your Fav. In Game Vehicle U Like To Use
The shopping trolley in Midtown Madness 3.

was rather surprised they had come out with something on this topic.
There`ll have been someone pitching this before the second one fell.
RE: Ultimate debate between men and women
Shouldn`t this be restricted to the Genital Topiary forum? Oh, that`s right, there isn`t one.
Doom on XBL Arcade
Out now for download. 800 things to unlock full game. Okay, I know it`s always a danger that the rose-tinted specs will come out with old titles, but I had a hell of a lot more fun with this than the recent FEAR demo.
RE: POLL: Stanley Kubrick`s best film...
I`d have to go with a 4-way split between Dr Strangelove, 2001, Clockwork Orange, and the awol PoG. Barry Lyndon I`ve not seen since release, Lolita has never actually appealed so I`ve never watched it, and The Shining I`ve always thought hugely overrated. And Spartacus is just too Hollywood.

Then `shame on your judgement` is all I can say, pantsplitter!
RE: POLL: Stanley Kubrick`s best film...
So Paths of Glory, one of the best war films ever, doesn`t even rate a mention? ;)

you have to admit Dirty Dozen VS a Nazi Hulk sounds fun
It does, but so did `Surf Nazis Must Die`.
RE: Today is international talk like a pirate day.
All-region Da Vinci Code only £4.99, Paypal preferred.
RE: Don`t fancy yours much!!
I once went to a do dressed as a fencepost - wrapped my torso in barbed wire (over about 10 tee shirts). Can`t think why I didn`t score that night.
RE: What I watched this week (w/e September 10th)
Silent Hill
I'm not familiar with the game so can only comment on this as a 'standalone'. Some effectively creepy scenes near the start when mum first lurches into the town... looks good in places. Unfortunately the longer it went on, the more confused (and hence bored) I got, to the point of neither knowing nor particularly caring what was going on. I do suspect I might get more from a second viewing but I'm not prepared to take the chance. Still, as a survival-horror game to film it could have been worse - at least it doesn't star a facially-challenged stick insect has-been whose acting range began and ended with 'mooltipass'.
Slither
A no-nonsense, no-brain monster movie that comes across a cross between Tremors and any number of zombie films. Fun for a while but it seemed to fizzle out and never got to be quite as much fun as it promised.
Hard Candy
Riveting stuff with a precocious teenaged girl appointing herself judge and jury while turning tables on a suspected paedophile. Only two people on screen for the most part, and in one location, but gripping from start to finish; even if the girl did appear to be unconvincingly mature for the 14 she was supposed to be. Sensitive males may squirm.
X-Men 3, or whatever it's called.
With Kelsey Grammer painted blue and hilariously thinking he's a guest on a Sesame Street revival, and Vinnie Jones in padded tights proclaiming he's bursting for a pee, all other comment is superfluous.

Where can I get good wallpapers from that are film related
Tried here? I usually have a scout round it when I want a new one.
RE: Help With A Film
... which is even worse than The Forgotten. If it`s this one, you should give your friend a good talking to.
RE: Who Siad Speinllg was Imropntnat?
I got stuck on the title, as one of the words has a letter too many.

RE: People in need of a good
Cretins who get rental DVDs before I do. I`d love to know they were getting them after me, so I could treat them to some of my own concentric gouges and greasy smears.
(Can`t comment on Nikki, I can`t watch BB because of my head)
RE: Chav Doggies
One got fed after midnight?
RE: Warrior King
Just realised this is the other title given to Tom Yum Goong. I have the (Korean) R3 dvd, and the video quality of that is pretty lamentable. I prefer the film to Ong Bak though, if only because it has none of that `let`s see that one again` syndrome slowing the action down.
RE: man is august gonna hurt my pocketbook!
Hostel was 90 minutes of cack.
Inside Man is good.
RE: XBOX Problem..... Please Help.
Does it happen in more than one game? Have you tried another controller? Might just be a dicky connector.
RE: Game Film/Actor thread...
To Kill a Mockingbird
RE: Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
Saw a trailer a while back and decided the best thing about it was probably the title. I`d love to be wrong though, so look forward to a review.
Pax vobiscum, baby.
RE: POLL: Which Emergency/Rescue Service Has The Most Dangerous Job

RE: "What`s On TV"
If there are a couple of wrong letters, it could be Teri Hatcher.
