Page 1 of Chav Doggies

Can someone explain to me this sudden appearance (maybe just around here?) of fully grown pit bull terriers. Each and every one owned by (intake of breath) chavs. They have not appeared as puppies but fully grown. In the past month about 15 have suddenly been walked in the park by their awful owners. The dogs are so tough they rip branches off the tree, the branches being outside their reach. They jump well, and don`t let go.
A bit scary this.
Any ideas why this sudden influx and appearance of fully grown dogs?
One got fed after midnight?
They don`t take them out of their nasty stinky flats until they`re not cute anymore?

LOL that takes me back, my dad`s next-door-neighbour`s dog used to do that! It was soft though, our cat used to go into their kitchen and eat its food. :D

Forgot to mention, I think it is more sinister than mere walkies. All the chavs and these dogs (I like pit bulls, by the way) meet at the same time in the park. As I know the owners by sight I am pretty sure the dogs were purchased fully grown.
Something is afoot. >:(
Thought it was illegal to own/sell Pit Bull Terriers and similar, under the Dangerous Dogs act?
At the very least if they have exemption certificates etc. (must stop laughing, this is serious), they must be muzzled in public.

I thought he might`ve meant large Staffy crossbreeds?
I looked up the dogs on the banned list and I thought the Fila Brasileiro looked lovely and not possibly dangerous, but then I read this from a breeder "A Fila WILL attack a stranger. Period. If they have the proper temperament, they WILL.". Eek.

I assume it`s only the teeny size of a Jack Russell that keeps them off the DDA. My little Molly (who`s only about the 2/3rds the size, if that, of an average JR) will have the ankles off you if she`s in a bad mood! ;)

Do they look injured or in poor condition though?
Nope, they look in tip-top condition, and by the looks of things deliberately kept so.
I hope I have got the right type of dog. those ones with bandy legs and little ears that kinda stick up? In that advert for somethingorother, not toilet rolls.
Aaah (thinking on my feet), the advert for Churchill do-das.
This kinda thing

None have muzzles on and are set free in the park. About ten have "appeared" in the past month, and same amount the month before.
