HD CRTS - DOES IT REALLY EXIST IN UK? (PLEASE HELP WITH ESTABLISHING)

HD LCDS/Plasmas are redicularly priced and still dont come close to the quality of CRTS.

There was a posting mentioning SAMSUNG having a 32`` HD slim line TV. They`re cheap in comparison and look good. But other websites say it`s not HD ready. I know this technology is readily available in the US, but is there any news the technology coming here?

Here`s link on Samsung website ... indicating HD ready:-
http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/television/crt/index.asp

Here`s link with Currys ... indicating not HD ready .... search model number WS32Z306V:-
http://www.currys.co.uk

Does anyone know if there is a HD ready CRT in the UK (any make) ... if so please provide your links and lets clear up this issue.

Thanks all 8)

Ceiling Lights In Twidgen (Show) Homes ... What company supplies them?

Looking in a show home in Sandy (TWIDGEN HOMES) they have some really nice ceiling lights. When I asked who supplied them, they got out their own catalogue which you cannot purchase unless you obviously buy one of their homes.

Does anyone know who supplies thei lights... and does anyone know whether the public can purshase them directly?

Know its a long shot ... but does anyone know?

Thanks : )

RE: Unique Shower Screen for only £189 (inc postage)

If the girl was paying attention to the shower screen your obviously doing something wrong :)

The idea is shower curtains and glass screens look rubbish and make the bathroom look smaller. It looks good when its folded back down.

Chris

RE: Front and Back Garden Plans - Help Please!!

Bigmaninc.....

Would be appreciated. Do you have any plans for smaller scale garden (nearly 10m wide by 5m in depth)? Looking for a practicle garden, with lots of grass, large plants to obscure back wall, area to relax for bbq, etc. Any ideas?

Thanks 8)

RE: Backing Up DVDs?

Never found it that user friendly and dont think it keeps the menus.

Thanks anyway .... any further programs?

RE: Decent ISA Account? Marks and Spencer Seems Best All Round!!

So far all A&L. Thanks all!!

Is it a temp rate with any restrictions?

RE: Best Deal on Mobile Contract?

Didnt see the advert. I believe its 1000 mins to O2 mobiles.Looking for cross network mins. Thanks for letting me know the details.

Backing Up DVDs?

What free-ware program is out there for backing up DVD`s?

Was using DVD Shrink but the most up to date version does not work with the new DVDs I`ve brought.

Any ideas? :)

Decent ISA Account? Marks and Spencer Seems Best All Round!!

What ISA do people recommend for instant access with no restrictions? And little percs such as free phone numbers to bank and free postage for cheques.

Know Marks and Spencer offer a similar service. Just wondered if there was better?

Chris :)

Best Deal on Mobile Contract?

3 network seems to have the best tariffs though in my opinion the worst service.

Does anyone know a good tarriff where you get a large number of texts and minutes x-net for a reasonable price.

Vodafone online tarriffs seem pretty good, but a little more than expected. 500 mins xnet and 500 txts I believe was £50.

What bargains are out there?

Chris :)

Unique Shower Screen for only £189 (inc postage)

Its a unique idea that isnt in the shops and come across it on the internet. My bathroom is of an average size, and a glass shower screen and curtain makes it seem small.

This ideas folds away when not in use and comes in chrome and silver. Has even been featured at IDEAL HOME SHOW.

It is £179 + £10 postage. Though if you send back a picture to them with it installed they will refund you £10 and may feature on there website.

I was reluctant at first with the price but looks good when its up, and finishes my bathroom of nicely. Take a look at the link and see for yourself :)

Front and Back Garden Plans - Help Please!!

Recently bought a house and the front garden is nasty (covered in stones) and the back needs a bit of work and inspiration.

Does anyone know a really good computer programme of a reasonable price or any web sites with set plan examples to go by with ideas for planting, decking, etc.

Thanks in advance 8)

Large Barrell Charcoal BBQ - Best Price £200 - Anywhere Cheaper?

Warmer temperatures are hitting and BBQ time is approaching!!

I`m looking for a Charcoal Barrell BBQ, not the commercial ones like in Argos or B&Q. Ones that are made out of old large drums converted in to BBQ`s. The best price I`ve found is £200.

Seems a bit much considering their only recycled drums. Does anyone know a website of somewhere a lot cheaper, or a welder that builds them?

Thanks in advance 8)
