Best Deal on Mobile Contract?
3 network seems to have the best tariffs though in my opinion the worst service.
Does anyone know a good tarriff where you get a large number of texts and minutes x-net for a reasonable price.
Vodafone online tarriffs seem pretty good, but a little more than expected. 500 mins xnet and 500 txts I believe was £50.
What bargains are out there?
Chris :)
As I was reading you post, an advert for O2 was below it. £25 for 1000 off-peak minutes and 1000 texts, plus the freedom of a 1month rolling contract.

RE: Best Deal on Mobile Contract?
Try looking at T-Mobile`s Flext tariffs.
If you buy from their website Flext 35 costs £26.50 at the moment, for this you get £180 of credit to use on calls, texts and photo messages. This equates to around 600 X-net anytime minutes and 600 texts a month.

RE: Best Deal on Mobile Contract?
those t-mobile deals look pretty tempting, in fact its exactly what the other half and i have been looking for! i know there is no cashback or anything like that but when you can get a nokia n70 (what i was wanting) 600 cross network mins 300 texts and 150 media messages for £26.50 a month! i think it will be hard to beat! they are 18 month contracts but that doesnt bother me as i hate having to find a better deal every 12 months! cheers for the heads up! :)
RE: Best Deal on Mobile Contract?
For the record, I would have to concur with the poster recommending the FlexT tariffs. While TMobile are offering 25% off the line rental for life for anyone purchasing direct from their website, I would suggest looking for the best specified handset that you can get for free (or nearly free).
P.S. for those who may be wondering, there are no FlexT deals currently listed on my site because I am currently wrestling with exactly how to integrate the flexibility that they offer into my search mechanism - infact, I may have to completely overhaul how I store, display and use tariff information as the new Orange tariffs now include combinations of multiple types of calltime. It`s probably about time for this anyway as I had never properly dealt with either/or tariff options such as e.g. the "either 100 text messages or 25 picture messages (or any combination in between where 4 text messages = 1 picture message)" offered by O2.
cheers,

Id be tempted with "3" if they offered a decent text allowance. With o2 I`m getting 500 texties and 50 across net minutes for £19. Did try for a O2 XDA Exec - 3G upgrade and offered to sign for an additional 18 months with them but they still wanted £120 for the handset :/
Ah well.....

How did u get that deal dusty? I hav an o2 contract phone n my deal isnt nearly that gud!!!!!
RE: Best Deal on Mobile Contract?
There are ways of getting way better deals from O2 than that. On Pay as you go as well.
For £15 I get

300 free texts (free monthly allowance),

100 Xnet anytime minutes (calls 100 bolt on @ £12.99, you have to phone customer service and ask for this it isn`t on their website or bolt on line)

150 Xnet off peak minutes (talk alot more allowance for topping up £15, no credit is taken)

1MB GPRS (free monthly allowance)

£2.01 `spare` credit to spend on what I want.
It really annoyed my friend when I got this, as he just renewed his contract with them and got much less, he`d been with them for years and I only started using them 2 months ago.
Of course, you have to either pay for a new phone or use an existing one, but if all you are after is a decent tariff, it aint too bad!
