More Free Sky+ - Expires 30th Nov
If you have Sky, or know someone who has sky, you and your friend can get Sky+ for free. The person with sky needs to recommend a friend using the following link:
friend.sky.com/
I don`t know if you get a second box if you already have Sky+, but if you have the standard sky package, or you just want to help a mate get Sky+, this is a bargain indeed!
There is the following quote on the FAQ:
Quote:
Is there a limit to how may friends I can introduce to Sky TV?
No, you can introduce as many friends as you like and receive a gift for each friend who joins Sky TV. If a gift is limited to one per household, an alternative will be supplied.
The offer expires on Friday 30th
If anyone wants recommending, PM me with your full name and e-mail address!
Regards
Rich
Xbox 360 Premium + 3 Games £349.99
Toys R Us have made a bit of a boo boo methinks.
They have the core system plus 3 games for the same price.
In my opinion, the PREMIUM system plus 3 games is not to be sniffed at. Absolute bargain.

RE: SAMSUNG all-in-one laser/printer/scanner £49.99 very limited quantities (250)
I bought this when they were selling it for £99.99 at PC World. I`ve got to say, it is excellent value for money, but beware of the starter cartridge. I`ve done 400 copies and it is already starting to fade down the sides. Shook the toner to redistribute it, and it`s printing "okay" now. Spot on when the toner was fresh...
I`ll be indulging in some refills very soon, as the PCWorld price for a toner is £65.00
Gotta say though, I wish I`d waited, but it seemed like such a bargain at the time!

Resevoir Dogs Special Limited Edition - £4.99 (with vouchers) CDWow
I ordered it thinking it would be the standard limited 2 disc edition available for 7.99 from play.
It arrived this morning, and it is in fact the Special Limited Edition with Mr. Brown (Tarantino) on the front, which is £8.99 from Play.
I would have loved to have recieved Mr White cover instead... but since Tarantino made the films it can only be a good thing.
I can`t guarantee that this would be the same for everyone though.
I used the discount links available here:
www.reestit-mutton.co.uk/retailers.html
Get a £1 voucher, and then follow the link that drops everything by £1 and you can get it for £4.99... a saving of £4
BARGAIN!!!

RE: cd-wow giveaway.... anyone get more than 50p?
I had the same problem. Instead of entering it in the gift voucher column, I entered it in the e-voucher one.... it worked!
I have now got about 13 50p Vouchers... not a sniff of any other value!

RE: Suberb Sub Speakers @ Ebuyer - £7.99 + Free Shipping
I live in Huddersfield... right on the main Sheffield to Manchester Route... Not to worry though, I got my delivery upgrade notice today, and they will be delivered by Monday instead of Tuesday. Not a massive change, but duly noted on ebuyers part.
RE: Suberb Sub Speakers @ Ebuyer - £7.99 + Free Shipping
How come, if I ordered them, and then told everyone here about them, I haven`t got mine yet? Oh well... no loss... still got til tuesday to arrive.
I`m glad they didn`t let anybody down.

Are these actually any good. I cant beleive a £8 speaker set will actually sound acceptable!
Listening to my brothers, they are excellent. About 5 times more clarity than the pioneer speakers in my car, and that was running off onboard sound. I couldn`t believe it either. Just got to wait while Tuesday to get them now though (Citylink though, so could be a week on tuesday) Definately better than the tinny sound that comes out of a portable TV or my current PC speakers. Half way up they were making his bedroom floor rumble!

re you absolutely positive your brother has the 2131 ? The 2133 ( a pound more) is sold out and looks pretty good too
I`m sure he has the 7.99 ones, because there is one less control knob. I think the 2133 has a treble control where the 2131 hasn`t, plus, he was going to get those ones, but they haven`t had any stock for like 2 weeks. I decided I needed better sound now and not in a month or whatever, so I ordered the cheaper ones (they look better too IMHO)

RE: Suberb Sub Speakers @ Ebuyer - £7.99 + Free Shipping
My brother has them connected to his `puter, whether it`s a 3.5 jack or phono connectors I`m not sure. One of the reviews says they are phono (which is great if you want a nice 2.1 system for your DVD player), so I`m not sure. I have an adapter though, and they cost about £1 from most independant electrical retailers and computer fairs.
I`ll get confirmation on the connection next time I speak to my bro.

Suberb Sub Speakers @ Ebuyer - £7.99 + Free Shipping
My brother got his the other day, and while there is a cheaper set, they look crappy. These look the business however, with a blue glow coming from around the volume control. He had them half way up and the room was shaking. Just ordered mine... should be here by next Tuesday.
Here`s the link!!!

You should check out some of the other stuff... some great multimedia keyboards under a fiver, and a wireless one under a tenner. Order seperately though, otherwise there is a shipping surcharge.

RE: FREE coffee machine
Ordered the 19p ruler and the coffee machine today. After I completed my purchase, the order form said:
"SORRY, This product has now been discontinued." :-(
I wonder what they are going to send me instead? I`ll keep you posted!

RE: Indiana Jones at Woolies
Update:
Contacted cd-wow. They told me that they ran out of medallions, as they were limited edition, however, those nice people sent me £2 off my next purchase.
Even so, 15.99 for a better quality box set is still good value, even without the medallion.
RE: Indiana Jones at Woolies
Just got mine from cd-wow. I opted for the region 3 box set... simply because it is cheaper, and in the hope that I would get one of those medallions or the leather-esque zip case (can be seen on ebay), but to my disappointment, I only recieved the boxset. It is really nice, a lot better quality than the UK release (and uncut to boot), But being a big fan, I was looking forward to a free gift...
Has anyone else bought this box set from cd-wow and not got the medallion or zip case? if so... where can I get me one of those without going on eBay?

Dungeons & Dragons Movie £1.99 at Woollies
I know it`s not the best film in the world, but for under £2 you can`t knock it. It must be in-store only though, cos I looked on the website and its listed at £15.99.
I got mine from the Huddersfield branch.
