Indiana Jones at Woolies

Don`t think this has been posted, but my local Woolies was selling the boxset today for £19.99, so I presume it`ll be available for that price in the post Christmas sales.

Following on from this, if you don`y mind waiting the R3 edition is still available from CD-Wow. It`s cheaper and uncut.

daaa da daaa daa da da daaaaaaa...

yeah, I recommend the better packaged, cooler looking, imitation leather bound Region 3 set from CD Wow too....which also has a lovely ickle thing stuck to the front of it, which I think is some kind of brooch.

As mine hasn`t been opened yet, I can`t say for definite...but the movies crack me up :)

I take it you`re referring to the headpiece of the Staff of Ra? I`m guessing the R3 is the same as the R1 in terms of packaging (i.e. embossed outer case with four Amarays inside).

Dunno....about 2 inches square and still sealed :D

Nope, the R3 is an embossed outer case, then 4 slimline cases inside.
They`re the wraparound cardboard type, high gloss finished with the DVD holder being clear and stuck to the inside back of each cover.

It`s a really well presented set, tbh, and the fact they`re uncut *and* cheaper swings it for me!

Pity they were R3 and not R2 coding out of the box, but that`s no biggie, and the fact they`re NTSC, but again, quality is high enough to keep me happy :D

Da da daaaa da da da daaaaaaaaaa.....there ya got me singing that theme tune again ;)

Sounds like the packaging for the Ultimate Matrix Collection. They`re ok until the bloody glue comes unstuck!

Still, if I didn`t have the R1 set I`d certainly have gone for this one over the overpriced and cut UK R2. I usually buy NTSC material nowadays due to my TV handling NTSC prog scan.

Still not opened my medal yet but the DVDs are excellent.

Glad I went for region 3!

Just got mine from cd-wow. I opted for the region 3 box set... simply because it is cheaper, and in the hope that I would get one of those medallions or the leather-esque zip case (can be seen on ebay), but to my disappointment, I only recieved the boxset. It is really nice, a lot better quality than the UK release (and uncut to boot), But being a big fan, I was looking forward to a free gift...

Has anyone else bought this box set from cd-wow and not got the medallion or zip case? if so... where can I get me one of those without going on eBay?
