RE: CD`s £2.99 Delivered - Robbie Williams, Travis, Ronan etc

May of course be fine but they take money as soon as you order i.e.

If for any purpose a back-order item is no longer available, we will immediately notify you by email, cancel the item from your order, notify the payment provider to process a refund back to your credit/debit card and delete the item from our product range.

RE: Free DVD

Brilliant :)

RE: EBAY...Thursday 21st April 2005 sellers listing "Worldwide" 5p...

Oh yes - brilliant post.

It is quite unbeliveable how many do not realise Surrey is not in US and that another currency exists other than $$$$$.

One of my three only negatives was from a US lady who bid £30 and then complained I had ripped her off as when she saw her paypal account it had gone down by $50.

DOH!!!!!!

RE: Internet Expolrer has stopped blocking pop ups

Yep same here and I`m using google as well - seems too much a coincidence?

>Don`t know if this is conicidence but I have noticed the same thing over the last >two/three days. The odd pop up coming up whilst I`m surfing, whereas previously >none ever came up (I`m using google pop up blocker).

All in one printers

Any advice on which to go for - and best bargain - looking at EPSON RX425 Printers All in One which are £99 in shops but £79.99 on PC world/Currys websites which seems pretty good price. How do compatible cartridges work with this?

Thanks for help

RE: Anti Virus Options and Sign Off`s

Thanks for quick (and early) reply, looks good but is this as good as Norton`s of the world that you have to pay for? If so why do people pay? and what is in it for the company to continue to develop this but provide it for free? I`m very curious.

Anti Virus Options and Sign Off`s

I rermember awhile back a thread was run on Anti Virus software available which also ended up discussing free Anti Virus. Don`t seem to be able to find now but any updates on best AV to buy/best deals.

If free sites exist which is best one and why do people then pay for Norton, for eaxmple.

Having got a new machine now need to sort something urgently.

Thanks in advance for your advice

Also how do you get those fancy picture sign off`s added to your postings - clearly I`m just being thick but could not find where you insert :(

RE: Playstation DVD Remote £2.99

No

Same problem here - otherwise works well :)

RE: Babylon 5 series 1 for £15.00

"as per the Futurama thread...

Mods, please close before we get all the usual replies to offers not fulfilled!"

Not sure that I agree the closing of the threads. Isn`t this a democratic forum? and thus if people get responses from Smiths - or indeed decide to take issue further - should this information not be available to all those interested?

If you are not interested then don`t read - its as simple as that.

Personally I don`t think its worth the hassle to take things further but Smiths behave very badly and have done so on many occasions. My response to the Bablyon order was a standard this product is no longer available mail.

This is a blatant lie and very poor customer service. Had I found item mispriced in shop they would honour it - why should it be different on web?

If a few people fight back we have seen how Tesco`s et al back down and If retailers get the message they have to be more professional with web sites then don`t we all gain?

Moderators - what is justification for closing such threads???

RE: Epson R200 Printer £49.99 @ Dixons

"It uses 6 ink tanks. This where Epson claw back the money. A full set will set you back £60 on the high street. You can buy clones for between £9 and £20 online though. These work just fine though"

So does that mean it gets through more ink or just it needs refilling less regularly??

RE: Epson R200 Printer £49.99 @ Dixons

Ok its a long time since I bought a printer - and then it was 4X this price but seems to be giving up ghost (EPSOM 740). Is this a good model to get - Pro`s con`s - it just seems too cheap to me but I am not with it at all on printers. Is this the dogs doo dahs or what can more expensive models do better???

RE: Cheap Gamecube games at Woolworths?

Sounds like the beginning of the end of the cube? Is it being phased out - seems to be cheap everywhere!!!

RE: woolies sale

ordered all and laready had email back all now deleted :(

RE: Gamecube bundle for £32.99 - Virgin and Tesco back down!

Recd as well - thanks so much to original poster. I was thinking of selling but ebay is already flooded, now torn between keeping for son. He`s already getting Poke GBA Flame Red and this is compatible to GC game. Now we`ve already a PS2 but I`m thinking of putting in upstairs study. Presume it can`t be displayed on a computer monitor? What ammo can I use to persuade `er indoors that PS2 and GC are both needed other than litltle one can play his GBA Flame Red with it?

RE: Rolling Stones Forty Licks or Lenny Kravitz debut - 2.97 quid (+P&P) / PC games - 4.74 quid (+P&

I ordered Mr Jagger and friends very soon after this post but now told it is unavailable :(

Did anyone get it??

RE: Gamecube bundle for £32.99 - Virgin backs down!

Looking good but no mail fo rme - anyone else not got one??

RE: Gamecube bundle for £32.99 - Virgin backs down!

Methinks Tesco`s pobably have a bigger margin than your outfit - whoever they maybe -due to purchasing power. Eitherway they make big big profits that a small loss on a few gamecubes won`t dent - so don`t really need all this protecting. Tesco`s actions/mails did not exactly promote goodwill either.

"A point we have already covered earlier, if the thread is remaining, we keep it open like any other thread, for anyone to post a comment into for whatever reason"

Of course you are correct but sorry to say your posts are getting kinda dull on a topic you clearly have no personal interest in - except maybe jealousy that you didn`t jumpaboard from the original posts? .I was just suggesting we now let it drop to concentrate on those that are really effected - suggest a straw poll would agree this has gone on way too looong..

No doubt I`ve just encouraged another reply tho......
