just trying to record and edit onto DVD Ram(no problem).
All my system is Panasonic,E50 recorder,tv+surround sound with player.
So I recorded on a RAM disc ok and now want to record on to DVD-R using panasonic Q-link system letting you record from the tv directly using one button.
Problem BUT, is no sound???
Being to lazy to read instructions!
Do I need to connect audio leads somewhere?
or do I need to change sound settings?

DVD-R Recorder speeds

Some DVD-R Disc`s have speeds on the 1x or 3x or 1-4x speeds.
Does it matter what speed disc`s you use for a DVD Recorder?(Panasonic E-50 PLAYER).
Are the speeds for computers?

I have used loads of Panasonic DVD-R and they have all played ok.
I have use them on a 125+225
What brand of disc`s do you have problems with?
I am just about to try some Memorex.
A code will not make any difference it is something to do with the date on the disc`s.
The all region code Is on the currys web site.
please tell me what disc`s you have used???

Scart vs S-video?? Using Panasonic E50

I have a Panasonic E50 DVD Recorder.
I use a smart 2000 Player for back ups,which connects from s-video to a scart to my recorder.
would it make any difference if I connect s-video to s-video or is s-video to scart better???.
It would be quicker to connect via the front of the recorder than the back!!!

What DVD-R Discs Do not work??????????????????

I have a Panasonic E50 recorder and have been recording on Panasonic DVD-R disc`s
which are excellent and play on our other players upstairs the matsui 125 and 225 models.
Do all DVD-R disc`s play on all DVD players,I have just brought some cheaper Memorex 25 for £18 from play.com.
Do you know if memorex DVD-R compatable with all DVD players.
