Need code for Matsui DVD225, it will play some copied discs but not all will a code help ?

Hi
I have used loads of Panasonic DVD-R and they have all played ok.
I have use them on a 125+225
What brand of disc`s do you have problems with?
I am just about to try some Memorex.
A code will not make any difference it is something to do with the date on the disc`s.
The all region code Is on the currys web site.
please tell me what disc`s you have used???
