RE: Saving Private Ryan DTS

Well as i started this thread i thought i had better give my opinion..i picked up the £3.99 DTS version from woolies which incidentally they have a lot more there at the same price, only last week i saw the DD version and to be honest i was blown away with the sound quality..in some ways i was just curiouse in how or if DTS would be if possible any better....my summary....DTS almost ripped my house walls down, it was awsome...best DVD sound i have ever heard, thought my amp was going to keil over on me! my advice to anyone who is sceptical about DTS is to go out and buy this and play it on a good system before pulling DTS to pieces...it was awsome and shall be getting a lot of play to show off my system in future

RE: Old Sky Digibox - what to do with it ???

i got the sky+ for £100 and sold my old panny 30 box for £50 on ebay..also the installers were a day late so sky credited myt account with £10 so i had sky + for £40

RE: Saving Private Ryan DTS

Cheers for the advice..just got it £3.99 do you think they have priced it incorrectly? will look forward to watching this tonight...sure the Neighbours will be happy!!

Saving Private Ryan DTS

Woolies have the special edition DTS for £3.99 but i already have the 5.1 version at home..do you think it would be worth getting the special edition for the DTS....just the 5.1 almost tears down my living room on the opening scene so i would have thought the DTS version would be awsome...anyone got it?

RE: Too bloody good to miss - Sky+ for a Ton!!!!

as i thought had my sky+ installed today...v1 box, big lump of plastic ugly thing...hardly fits in my cabinet! oh well i suppose it was only a ton! i think it is going to develop a fault!! has anyone else`s v1 had a fault yet? if so what was sky`s response?

RE: Too bloody good to miss - Sky+ for a Ton!!!!

>:( click here to see the v1 box which they will be installing...the v2 is the 1st one you see and the v1 which we will be having is pictured below it!! gutted

RE: Too bloody good to miss - Sky+ for a Ton!!!!

>:( Mine is due to be installed on Wednesday! i hope i don`t get one of those ugly v1 boxes..think there the ones with the big black cross shaped thing on the front! mine will also be playing up if it is a v1 box as i want one of the shiny green light ones...the v1 will ruin the cosmetics of my set up!! looks like an old piece of junk...gutted!
