Ordered an M3 Simply from these guys... decided I`d go with a paypal option to be safe. These items can be associated with illegal downloads so the sites are all a bit suspect. This one turns out to be VERY dodgy.

They claim to have "Same day UK shipping"... Week and a half later and I`m still waiting.

No replies to my emails, no answering of phones. Best avoided I think. Their communication is terrible. Time to test that Paypal Protection.

Getting one from www.gameyeeeah.com instead - Much cheaper too!

I was actually very impressed with Asda honouring their last pricing error. I got Charmed season 1 for 6.97, the West Wing season 3 for £6.97 and Smallville season 4 for about £15. The Hut (who Asda use for their entertainment stuff) didn`t honour the prices but Asda did... I had to wait a little while for the cheaper ones but good things come to those who wait... ;) No complaints from me, good luck! :)

To be fair... I`m sure you could get CD-wow to refund your orders when you return them... and if the vouchers you used are legit, they are normally very helpful and polite and will probably email you another one (as they do when the system beggers up and says they are invalid). If the vouchers are not legit then theres nothing to complain about as nothings lost. :)

I got my ipod mini for about £155 from the Apple website by combining the student 10% off and the £8 off voucher. A little more money but they ingrave the back for free and it took less than a week to come despite them saying it would take two weeks.

I`m not fussed about not getting the gamecube. Didn`t expect to anyway! :)
I`m a little disappointed in Tesco for not even bothering to email me to say it`s been cancelled and a small apology might have gone down well - I only found out when I checked on the site... customer service could be improved, but I`ve not the time to kick up a fuss.

Weird.

I managed to get the Red Dwarf (all 4 collection) when I tried it again with a new email address. See my post earlier - I added the full price first, then the others, then went to check out and used voucher.
I think the order you do things matters.

I just managed to get Red Dwarf 1-4, The Life of Mammals and Life in The Freezer.
You have to make sure you do it all first time round.
I entered the full price one first and then the two others.
THEN (and only once you are sure you have everything you want) go to checkout and enter the code.

Noticed my local Asda had some at a couple of quid... they were mostly CDs without cases but there were a few DVDs. Nothing that I really wanted though.

At Blockbuster I picked up Triple X brand new without a case for £3.99. They also had other new ones including The Scorpian King and The Mummy Returns. They had ex-rentals without cases for the same price including Chicago, The Guru and Star Trek Nemesis.

I`m looking for a dvd recorder for my tv. Does anyone know where the best place to look is? The cheapest I`ve found so far is Amazon with one at £189 and a phillips one at £235.

Yamada 2500 - problem

Hi

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced problems with this DVD player due to it interfering with your tv signal when it`s switched on?

Will this cause damage to my other equipment. Is there anyway that I can prevent it... I`ve tried putting the player a metre or so away but it still seems to interfere if it`s turned on.

But they have put the Indiana Jones Trilogy back to £19.99 :)
There are quite a few bargains but more than half their DVDs say out of stock!

I managed to pick up the Douglas Adams boxset last week in Nottingham Fopp - but I didn`t see any more in the store - they may been hiding though. It actually says rrp £29.95 so £7 is a real bargain!
