Page 1 of Fopp bargains : Cape Fear 3 DVD boxset £7; Hitchikers Guide 5-book box set £7

Those of you lucky enough to have a Fopp shop in town will no doubt be aware of their three five seven ten sale at present.

Picked up the 5-book box set of Douglas Adams` Hitchikers Guide books (RRP £27) for £7 (plus Deborah Curtis` biography of her ex-hubby Ian for £3) today and also espied the old/new box set of Cape Fear (the newer film has an additional disc of extras) for just £7.

That`s the voucher work gave me last year gone at last then :D

I managed to pick up the Douglas Adams boxset last week in Nottingham Fopp - but I didn`t see any more in the store - they may been hiding though. It actually says rrp £29.95 so £7 is a real bargain!

I think pricestorm are also selling cape fear 3 discs for 6.99

There was still a sizable stack left when I bought mine from that store on Tuesday, so I guess they must have got some more in - and you`re right - it is £30 - double bonus :)

I started reading HHGG last night and have to say it was almost scary my recollection of the opening two pages - I knew them almost word for word :o

Didn`t know you were a Nottingham person dicanio - which district ? I`m a Bulwellian myself (and proud...ahem)

The HHGG books might be more widely available at £7.00.
The Book People have just dropped off their selection at work and this is one of the offers.
I usually find that these appear in the next catalogue, so those that don`t live near a FOPP store, your chance may come to grab this bargain by mail.

I`m not, never said I was. I just saw the boxset on the pricestorm.com website :/
