Hi

Check out the excellent Canadian supplier www.dvdsoon.com.

They are doing the above for only 41.98 Canadian dollars, which works out @ under £20 inc free postage & packing!

Service is excellent, they usually ship on hand items within 24 hours.

Cheers Django

Or alternatively go to Morrisons and pick it up off the shelf for £19.99 without the hassle of DVDnotsoSoon`s lethargic service and a potential Customs nightmare...

To be fair to DVDSoon, the last couple of things I`ve had from them have been really quick to arrive - i.e. Two Towers - notified it was shipped on Saturday, arrived Wednesday.

Yeah, but who really wants the R2 version in the usual crappy serial box cardboard cover?

I bet the R1 version has more extra`s too!

DVD Soon have always provided me with a first rate service providing the title is on hand/in stock.

Doesn`t look like it from comparing the disc`s features on a UK and a US website...

I think dvd.co.uk as posted numerous times previously is the cheapest R2 at £17.99 delivered.

I`m with Django on this, never had a problem with DVDSonn (touch wood), swift service and the box is indeed a solid box not like the crappy R2 "I`m gonna fall to bits after 2 minutes you gulible R2 idiot" box :D

Actually, I ordered my Two Towers from DVD Soon back in July and they had it for $38.98 then (now $3 more), which works out at 17.83 quid including postage. I didn`t check the package wrapping this time, but previous DVDs I`ve ordered from DVD Soon say "$12 CAD" on the customs sticker, regardless of what it actually cost me - a nice way to avoid the 18 quid customs limit :)

Can I point folks to the useful DVD Compare site and the Two Towers comparison here:

www.dvdcompare.org.uk/comparisons/film_results_page.php?fid=3722

This says that the R1, R2 and R4 features are the same, but that they haven`t confirmed if the MTV Awards Gollum speech has been bleeped out or not (it was when MTV UK aired it) in the Easter Egg.
