Yamada 5520 region hack not working

I tried the 1,3,7,9 hack, the menu does appear but I cannot change the region. So I tried the 2,8,1,2 hack. Still does not work. What can I do? I heard you can try and download firmware to fix this, however, i can`t find it anywhere. Can anyone help? Thanks

Scarecrows DVD Horror Film NE1 no if it will get DVD Release?

Anyone remember a 1988 Horror film called `Scarecrows`?. Anyone know if this will ever be released on DVD? I cant seem to get it on VHS. I have emailed Anchor Bay to ask them if they will release this, but have not had a reply. Maybe if more people bugged them, they may do something about it.

One is £9.99 and the other (US) is £16.99

Which is better? They both have similar running time.

What is the difference betwen Re-animator R1 & R2 DVDS

Can someone please explain to me the difference between the Region 1 Millenium Edition (£16.99) DVD Release of Re-animator and the UK Region 2 release (£9.99)?

I checked the running time of both. R2 is 1h 24 and Region 1 is 1h 26. So what is the difference?

Which is recommended?

Transformers Season 1 DVD. Which is better R1 or R2?

Hi, can someone please tell me which is better. The Region 1 or Region 2 of Transformers Season 1 DVD Boxset?

I have read reviews that the R1 has much improved picture quality.They do look very impressive.

Is this the same for Region 2? Have Maverick made they same picture quality improvements as Rhino did for Region 1?

I too emailed Universal Playback about Columbo, but just like you they did not bother to respond. I am currently watching the repeats on Five, but ideally would like to have some on DVD.
