Does any one know where I can buy some Columbo DVDs? I have the first two volumes.
I understand that Columbo DVDs are freely available in Japan. Does anyone know of any online UK based stores that may import these DVDs?

my brother also bought the 2 dvds the other year when they started to come out. i remember stuff like the saint and the persuaders also came out, and dangerman which we also collected, i think we got 7 of dangerman before they stopped. i went to the carlton website about a year ago to see if anymore were due out, i think they distributed in the uk, but no sign of anymore. i can only assume the rights changed hands as they can do, but they have been on TV over the past few weeks so there must be much more to release. he even bought some colombo boxsets on video from music zone for a few quid because he got fedup of waiting.
columbo is released via universal. I too am waiting for more. have a look here though for columbo information. http://www.columbo-site.freeuk.com/

You will be waiting forever with universal . A few years back i started to collect the battlestar galactica series on vhs from www.universal-playback.com / uk based website . Only six tapes were released and then they just stopped . Also bought the two columbo tapes and since then there have been no more .I emailed them to find out why and received on response . While away in the states last year called into virgin store to try and find any columbo on dvd but they have yet to be released over there . Your best bet is to record the episodes from tv they are currently showing columbo on channel 5 mon to fri / granada plus mon to thurs / and bbc2 on saturday afternoons .bye oh and JUST ONE MORE THING hope this helps .

I too emailed Universal Playback about Columbo, but just like you they did not bother to respond. I am currently watching the repeats on Five, but ideally would like to have some on DVD.
