Can someone please tell me the difference between the R1 and R2 elease of the Re-animator DVD?

One is £9.99 and the other (US) is £16.99

Which is better? They both have similar running time.

Cheers

I have the R2 (actually R0) version but found out after i got it that it is cut but cant be bothered to replace it with r1. So get the r1 version as its uncut

It turns out that R1 is also R0 on two counts.

The UK version of the film is cut by 1m 49s

Three compulsory cuts required to remove details of sexual assault under the terms of the Video Recording Act 1984 (harm to potential viewers...or to society...through the depiction of violent behaviour...and human sexual activity). (they had a problem with the headless rape scene)
