Its easy done but not from the remote. Have a look at http://home.t-online.de/home/0306855728-0001/CHindex1.html if you speak German. It requires a firmware update which is done by loading a CD with the update burned onto it.
After that you have a Multi-Region macro disabled machine.

Toshiba DVD + VCR combined ??

Does anyone know of a Toshiba combined DVD / VCR. ASDA are supposedly doing
them and are going to reduce them to £170-180.

Any info would be great.

US Toshiba sd-3107 (110v + NTSC) chipping

Now that I have my Tosh 3107 (usa) is it worthwhile chipping or moding to make multi-region. It doesn`t do PAL but my tv is NTSC compatible so that doesn`t matter on region 1 discs. Will is stop me using region 2 etc. and are the basic <£30 DIY chips worth the money and do they disable macrovision.

Got it for £42.00 but it only plays NTSC I belive and it is 110v.

Toshiba 3107 help please

I have a chance of a cheap Tosh 3107 USA model 110v etc. How good/bad is this machine? I know it is limited in bells and whistles but will it do as a first project machine as I would like to upgrade it to Multi-region myself with a DIY kit.

Will is play VCD? etc.

As it says above. My friend has a Tosh SD21093e and wants multi-region can this be done? How? How Much?
