Now that I have my Tosh 3107 (usa) is it worthwhile chipping or moding to make multi-region. It doesn`t do PAL but my tv is NTSC compatible so that doesn`t matter on region 1 discs. Will is stop me using region 2 etc. and are the basic <£30 DIY chips worth the money and do they disable macrovision.

I would seriously hold off until we can see the results of Warner`s new RCE titles. Otherwise you could be buying another modification two weeks after you get your current one.
