RE: 250Gb hard drive DVD recorder

Theres no such law - you have the right to change your mind if you are buying off the internet (7 days) but you are entering into a contract if you are buying it from a shop - you can only return it if the product is faulty.

RE: 2-way radios - £8.73!!!!!

Been back again today to the Redcar shop and they will not honour it. Spoke to the manager and she kept changing the story, first she said it was an error on the website that had been corrected (showed her the copy of it still on the site), then she said that they were honouring them yesterday but not today when I told her I has been in yesterday she said that the delivery hadn`t come in until yesterday???.

RE: 2-way radios - £8.73!!!!!

Cheers might try that tomorrow. Did you say that they were still been advertised at £8.73?

RE: 2-way radios - £8.73!!!!!

Reserved some on Monday and the reservation said that the item would be available today (20th wednesday). Went into the Redcar store today and they wanted £24.99. They said that the price went up yesterday and that wiould be the price I would have to pay :( .

RE: BA: SE K750i on Vodafone CrossNet 200 (12m) - minimum term cost of £110 (after cashback)

I didn`t get the car charger either, wonder if its because it uses a new type of connection port - they doesn`t seem to be one to buy on the official site.

RE: BA: SE K750i on Vodafone CrossNet 200 (12m) - minimum term cost of £110 (after cashback)

My original order was on 23rd May through the internet, my order status got stuck at "Awaiting connection to Mobile Network" so I rang up yesterday and had to reorder it. I was told that I would get it by tuesday next week. Seems to be a very good phone, menus are really quick and I like the animated menus.

The phone has no vodafone branding on it at all so it must just be bought in stock (it has quickshare at the bottom of the phone not vodafone and has the sony ericsson start up).

RE: BA: SE K750i on Vodafone CrossNet 200 (12m) - minimum term cost of £110 (after cashback)

My original order was at the `Awaiting connection to Mobile Network` but then stopped. I rang them and cancelled the order and re-ordered it on the telephone. Now the old order says:

Please click on an order number to view the full order status
Order Order date Status
****** 23MAY05 Order Complete,Your order has been cancelled

The old order went through as:

Product Description Req. Al Desp Net Total
INSTMTI INSURANCE AND TMTI 0 0 0 £0.00 £0.00
K750I CPW ERI Sony Ericsson K750i Handset 0 0 0 £0.00 £0.00
T28 CC Ericsson Car Charger 0 0 0 £0.00 £0.00
VSC CPW Vodafone Sim Card 0 0 0 £0.00 £0.00
Free gift 3 months half price rental(from network) 1 £0.00 £0.00
Total: £0.00

I cant check the new order status as it was a telephone order and didn`t get a order number. Try calling them they were very helpful to me.

RE: BA: SE K750i on Vodafone CrossNet 200 (12m) - minimum term cost of £110 (after cashback)

Just an update - I rang onetopphoneshop and my order had somehow gone through on an old system - had to cancel the order and reorder it.

Been told that as I ordered on the telephone it will be processed as a priority order and that the phone is currently out of stock and they are expecting the phones in by the weekend and it should be with me on tuesday via citylink.

Just saw this while searching for my problem, says you can get the phone down to £20 (haven`t read it so I don`t know how valid it is)

K750 for £20??

RE: BA: SE K750i on Vodafone CrossNet 200 (12m) - minimum term cost of £110 (after cashback)

My order seems to have stuck on `Awaiting connection to Mobile Network` has anyone got the phones yet. Just read this on Rpoints so it might take a while...

Quote:
gave them a call and asked if it would be here tomorrow

she said there was a backlog of online orders so they were taking time and I asked how long it would be... she then said it had gone out of stock giving them impression they had some then I asked why it was still on the site and she said they were a pre-order so didnt have any and were expecting them to go out in around 7 days

RE: Cheap RAM - I think

I wouldn`t touch Aria with a barge pole - The customer service is shocking. Sent a MP3 player back in september that didn`t work and they are refusing to replace it or repair it.

Also they sent my confidential email address out to about 50 other customers by not blind carbon copying it, got in touch with some of the other customers in the list who are having the same problem of not replacing faulty items. They may be cheap but they aftersales service is not up to scratch.

RE: FWD - Free calls to US/Canada

At the moment you can call US/canada landlines for free (i`ve only tryied a fax number but it seems to work). All you have to do is put *1 in front of the number the area code and the phone number. Le me know if anyone else has used it properly.

FWD - Free calls to US/Canada

Just got this email:

When you use your Free World Dialup account, today through the end of the year, you can now place calls into the USA and Canada, for free, by dialing *1 and the areacode and number.

We hope you are able to take advantage of this special promotion and take the time to tell others about it as well.

Best Wishes for the Holiday season,

The Free World Dialup Team

You will need to set you PC up with the software, mic and speakers/headphones and I think it needs a broadband connection.

RE: USB MP3 Player/Flash Drive 128mb expandable £60 (in 3 colours)

Got one of these a couple of weeks ago, the only problem is if you insert a memory card it sticks out the top and looks like it could break off easily. Also It doesn`t have ID tags but apart from that its a good player.

RE: Anybody seen a good deal on the new I-Pod?

Think you have a typo - 20Gb instead of 20mb
