Grundig went bust in february,DSG RETAIL(Dixons,Currys etc) are just using the name,its made in outer mongolia or somewhere!

Anyway why dont you buy the Philips DVDR 70 as that can be hacked!

There are also regular software upgrades for these as well!

Help! It currently takes 3 minutes to load a page,I thing my computer is using a lot of RAM for something,but don`t know what!

Hiya Micky,where is the B&M in redcar,is it in the new development?I ask this cos I now live in Norfolk,although we are going up to see mother in law ina couple of weeks(and hopefully the Wolves match!).

Do yourself a favour and have a look at a Sebo cylinder cleaner K1 komfort (it`s German as opposed to Malaysian!) 1800w motor,it will take your hand off.
It has varible suction (so you could vacumn the cat!),turbo brush,floor brush,parquet floor brush,crevice tool(best place to put a tool!).dusting brush, upolstery brush and a five year parts and two year labour warranty.Oh and by the way it eats Dyson and Miele for breakfast!

Yeah Quad is very good stuff,I have a 77 integrated which I am bi-amping with a Radford STA 25 power amp driving Castle Chesters,front ends are Teac P 500 D500 transport + Dac and a Manticore Mantra with silver wired Rega RB250 and a Linn K18 cartridge.

Although if anybody has an Ekos they want rid of.

Glad to be of service,I have a Wharfedale M3 which comes out of the same factory,but I`m interested in what the quality of the Elta is like on Divx discs.

Press setup without a disc in player.A menu will appear press in order 49540,then version will appear,select version then you can select 0 for all regions.(if 49540 won`t work try 8888)!

Hi! Westy having left the HI-FI industry 18 months ago I have not read said comic since then.Really HI-FI magazines havent been the same since Audiophile & HI-FI Answers(Does anybody remember Ian Rankin writing reviews?)
Haymarket publications merged Audiophile into What HI-FI about ten years ago,because they had to sell enough copys to be alble to get onto supermarket shelves(If sales figures are too low the big boys are not interested.By the way if anybody is interested in high quality interconnects terminated with Neutrik phono plugs,give me a nod!

Forgot to mention I do sometimes buy the yank mag Stereophile which is generally very good.
